The new Stromer ST2 is a quantum leap in e-bike innovation with three key areas of improvement: Design, Power and Connectivity. The design is sleek and clean with an integrated head tube daytime light, internal cable routing and a battery that fits neatly into the down-tube. The battery, an 814 WH lithium-ion battery, provides a range of up to 150km and the first-ever 5 step Recuperation mode on an e-bike.

Its 500 Watt hub motor with a torque of 35 NM provides power for the ultimate dynamic pedaling experience on a pedelec (Pedal Assisted Electric Bike).

The star of the ST2 is Omni, a cloud-based platform and digital hub for controlling a wide range of jaw-dropping features. Omni allows ST2 owners to communicate with their bike through a smartphone app or browser-based portal. It’s the first time ever that a bike’s performance settings can st2-inset be remotely tuned by its owner, and it all happens automatically with the tap of a button on your smartphone. The app will also let you know when the bike’s software and firmware need updating, and if your phone needs charging, simply plug it into the bike.

Through the web-based Stromer Portal you can get an overview of your ST2, from when its next service should take place, to helping Stromer service personnel remotely identify and troubleshoot minor issues.

A class of its own
The ST2 is one of the fastest commercially available pedelecs in the world (45 km/h). Each bike comes with country specific configuration and accessories such as city lights and fenders. The ST2 has achieved European approval according the L1E standard. At the moment, it is only available in Switzerland, Germany, Holland, Belgium, and Austria, but it will be available in major markets in the second half of 2014.
