Lat year I broke a lot of bones. My ribs and collar bone – twice. And my neck. I love riding in tough conditions, and I think my acceptance of pain is pretty good. With broken collar bone and ribs I rode Vätternrundan – Sweden’s biggest race with 15 000 participants that ride 300 km around a lake. When I broke my neck I realized how sensitive I am, and how fast everything can change. I want to live my life to the fullest! In Sweden we have just started to enjoy cycling as much as the people in the rest of Europe. And we look in envy at the spring classics, and the tough races in Belgium. In a tough race you need a bike that can handle the impacts. I use a BMC mountainbike and love it. I bet the Grand Fondo will be just as good.
